I purchased the HF-360 10 yrs ago and have taken it down just about every river imaginable. Foe those who say it can't handle the "big rapids" - I tell you, don't believe a word they sday. I have taken it down the Deschutes seventeen times without any puctures or loss of air chambers.

i live in oregon and have taken it down the mckenzie river many of times.. and as all rivers you will get hung up on a rock, but its so simple to get off,we have never had a problem at all and would/will get one when this one goes out ten years from now.. just avoid the rocks that you can but its a great boat.. just dont over inflate before you get to the river so it has some give if it gets stuck

Only good in lakes
By Linda from Portland Oregon on 9/1/2007

Affordable and fits alot of people. But this boat is only good if you plan on taking it to the lake. It does not do well in rivers where there are a lot of rocks. It will easily puncture in those environments. It has three different air sections which becomes useful if 1 air section pops.

Experience: Just bought the raft and took it down the river. We had six people with us. Half way down our "4" hour trip, which ended up being a "7" hour trip, the raft popped near rocks. The outside channel popped, but we still had the other two channels. That boat still held all of us until the end (though it took a long time to get to our destination. Too bad They wouldn't let me return it and the manufacture said it was my fault.....
