I?ve had my Polar F6 for a week now and my initial impression is highly favorable. I purchased the Polar after having a less than satisfactory experience with another HRM. I am pleased that the Polar unit has none of the issues I experienced with the other brand with reporting heart rate results unbelievably high or the other extreme of no heartbeat at all. The set-up and ease of use is a plus and the downlink and uplink features work flawlessly. I have been very happy with the Owncal feature as the calorie burn totals look to be very believable. All in all, an excellent tool to help manage calorie counting. The quality of the Polar product is superb and if I decide to upgrade to a different unit later on, I would have no reservations based upon how the F6 has performed.
