These skates are okay for beginners, but once you start gaining skill they stay behind. When learning to grind these skates are horrible. They get caught on rails and won't even move on ledges. DO NOT buy these for your kid. When they progress they'll want a good pair of blades. Spend the money on good ones now and you'll be thanking yourself later.
