The iBert safe-T-seat was designed with quality and safety first. The safe-T-seat places the child up front, safely between the parent's protective arms. This evenly distributes weight over the bike giving a stable, safe ride. Kids enjoy the close interaction and the unobstructed view of the fun ahead. Mounted conveniently on the handlebar stem; the high, forward position allows you to pedal in comfort without banging your knees on the seat.

I had made a life decision to get myself back into shape and lose weight and I was making great progress and then my wife gave birth to my son. With all of the changes in lifestyle, the personaly time away to go cycling had all but disappeared. I rode occasionally, but not enough to stay in shape.
When my son turned 1, my wife searched the internet for a bike seat for my son so that I could take him with me and ride whenever I wanted.
What a nightmare that turned out to be. She first ordered a rear mounted carrier. *Note to all* Don't mix rear mounted carriers with full suspension mountain bikes. The supports that hold the seat up are fixed to the rear axle and as the frame of a full suspension bike flexes, *POW*. One metal support snapped, the other bent. Back to square one.
She then bought me a mid mounted carrier, WeeRide. That solved the compatibility problem, but I am 6'2" and after installing in (what a pain) I took my son out for a ride. He actually liked being in front of me directing our ride, but when I got home, my knees were shot. I can't tell you how many times my knees hit that seat. Mid mounts are great for kid position, but only for the kid. For the person pedalling, you either have to ride bow-legged or live with painful bruises. I returned that one the next day.
Finally my wife found the iBert seat. *Finally* If only she had started with this one, we wouldn't have had to deal with everything to date. It was simple to install (2 screws) and mounted high enough on my handlebar stem that my knees didn't hit when pedalling. My son got what he wanted and sits up front with daddy so we can talk, and I got a seat that works with my full suspension bike without getting purple knees.
For those out there looking for the perfect seat, this is the one. My son is now 2 (as of yesterday) and we ride at least 3X per week. He is 25 lbs and he still has lots more room to grow and use the seat.
My wife now rides with us and we can swap the seat to hear bike simply. I take the harder uphill portion of the ride, then we switch him to her bike for the coast downhill. All three of us love it and couldn't be happier. We've recommended it to friends who now can't live without it. Thanks for a great product!
